How to report a problem

Please use our Report an Issue form. Include the page URL, the exact statement or element involved, why it may be wrong or misleading, and a supporting source if you have one.

What happens next

  1. We preserve the report and identify the affected claim, source, link, image, metadata, or technical element.
  2. We check the strongest available primary or authoritative sources and the page’s existing evidence record.
  3. We correct supported factual errors and re-run the relevant content, link, rendering, and metadata checks.
  4. For a material correction, we add a visible note explaining what changed. Minor spelling, formatting, or accessibility fixes may be corrected without a formal note.

Dates and transparency

We change a page’s modified date only after a substantive verified edit. We do not remove a valid correction note merely because the page was refreshed later.

Safety concerns

This form is not monitored as an emergency or crisis service. For an immediate risk to a child or another person, contact the appropriate local emergency or safeguarding service.
